  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings optional

  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • Caramel drizzle on top

Equipment

  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups & spoons
  • Heatproof mugs or glasses

Method

  1. Heat the Cider
  2. Pour apple cider into a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add Flavor

  5. Whisk until caramel melts completely and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Simmer Gently
  7. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5–7 minutes to blend the flavors.
  8. (Don’t boil — it can make the cider cloudy.)
  9. Add Vanilla & Serve
  10. Stir in vanilla extract, then pour into mugs.
  11. Top & Enjoy
  12. Add whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a cinnamon stick for that perfect cozy finish.

Notes

Use fresh apple cider, not apple juice, for a deeper flavor.
Make it creamier by adding a splash of heavy cream or half-and-half before serving.
For a salted caramel twist, use salted caramel sauce and a light sprinkle of sea salt flakes on top.
Can be made in a slow cooker for parties — keep warm on low heat for up to 2 hours.
For an adult version, add a splash of spiced rum or bourbon before serving (optional).
